Early Years

Kindergarten

Our Kindergarten program consists of four levels: Nursery, Preschool 1, Preschool 2 and Kindergarten.

Our Nursery Curriculum supports children in growing up strong, curious and compassionate towards others and their environment. Thematic work, Early Practical Life, Math and Science are included.

Children have fun by being actively involved with thematic work. They will develop learning skills more quickly, as each one is connected to and reinforced by the other. The exercises in Early Practical Life provide purposeful activity, develop motor control, coordination, independence, concentration, and a sense of responsibility.

Order, coordination, concentration, and independence are experienced while studying math with educational toys. Desired goals of science in our Kindergarten curriculum include what we hope children will attain or achieve in three different areas: content, processes, attitudes and/or dispositions.

As Preschool is a time of rapid growth and development, our preschool curriculum is designed keeping in mind the physical and intellectual developmental characteristics of 3 - 5 year olds. With our Language Art program, preschoolers learn, understand and use a wide variety of new words. They learn to read and write and can identify sounds. Our math curriculum for preschool includes teaching the little ones to count, measure, identify and create patterns, use number and word symbols, and more. Probably the most fun of all subjects is the art and craft curriculum. Children get a hang of expressing themselves through art, and drawing and coloring activities strengthen their motor development.
